    Abstract

    The main contributor to increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration in Malaysia is fossil fuel combustion for power generation, transport, industry and domestic use. Malaysia energy consumption by fuel type could be presented as : natural gas (45%), oil (44%) and coal (8%).
