Abstract

This research was conducted for north Langkawi with an objective of identifying the landuse/cover changes occurring uithin a pristine enuironment undergoing progressiue land development pressure to provide a preliminary perspectiue touards the changes taken place forming an inualuable asset in an integrated ecosystem research, planning, management and monitoring to ascertain the environmental sfctus of the research area.
