    Abstract

    Arc melting process using an in-house made arc melting furnace was satisfactorily used to produce y-TiAI based intermetallic alloys with compositions of Ti-48AI, Ti-48AI2Cr, and Ti-48AI-2Cr-2Mo (in at.%).
