Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of h eat ageing on the mechanical properties of natural rubber (NR). The work involved the use of different curing systems to investigate the change in the strength properties of rubber after ageing at 100°C in the oven. A series of experimental tests were carried out on NR compounds with different vulcanization systems; sulfur vulcanization system and non-sulphur vulcanization system.
